The "official" weekly meeting will begin at Fanny Ann's Saloon at the
usual time (6:30pm); however, a few of us have decided to visit Sac
City Dry Goods, Evangeline's and other select sites in Old Sac. Since
a few of these stores close early, we will be arriving as early as
possible (probably around 4:30pm). If you wish to arrive early, send
me a personal message or an email, and I will give you my cell phone
number. That way, we can coordinate a meetup.

Karma Cafe in Old Folsom, and Fanny Ann's Saloon in Old Sacramento.
"Official meeting times are 6:30 to 9:30, however the Karma Cafe stays
open after 5PM specifically for us, so some early to eat there if you
can. Thursdays are burger madness nights at Fanny Ann's.
Thursday, February 18th we will be at Fanny Ann's
February 25th we wil be at the Karma Cafe
March 4th we will be at Fanny Ann's
March 11th we wil be at the Karma Cafe

Location: Century Downtown Plaza 7. This is a 3D viewing cost: $13.25
This is a good warmup event for those who will be attending the Nova
Albion convention the next day. The Sacramento Steampunk Society will
host an official "con suite" (party room?) on the 12th floor at the
convention Friday and Saturday evenings. Everyone is welcome and
encouraged to attend.
Note: "special" events like this will be posted to our facebook
group. If you become a member of that group, you will recieve
invitations, to which you can RSVP. ALL of our meetings, special
events, and all other Northern California events of interest to
steampunks are listed on our Northern California Steampunk Events
Google Calendar - accessible from the Home page of this group.

Please check the topic for the Alice in Wonderland movie - we may be
changing the time and place to meet depending on feedback.
Cedar "Mouse" LaBrie
for the foreseeable future, but I will not be at the March 18th
meeting because of a birthday party. I will try to swing by Karma
after the party. :)
Also, we will not be at Nova Albion after all--I misread my work
schedule. :(

On Thursday, April 29th we will have a special combination meeting and
outing:
This is our regular weekly meeting night and we will meet at the usual
time at Fanny Ann's in old Sacramento. Costumes are always
encouraged. The meeting will be shorter (or longer) as we will leave
Fanny Ann's before 9PM to walk over to Club Necropolis to see, hear,
and dance to Vernian Process at the Sac Steam Ball.
Vernian Process is a Bay Area steamy band and I believe this will be
their first appearance in Sacramento. It is definitely the first
Steampunk Music/Club event in Sacramento EVER!! We are encouraging
all Nor Cal Steamers to support this event, so that there will be more
of them.
Sac Steam Ball: Sacramento's ONE & ONLY steampunk event! The place to
be for all your streampunk needs featuring musical performances by the
Vernian Process & Vegabondage. I have an assortment of vendors of art,
clothes, accessories and curiousities... come down underground if you
dare to delve deeper into an alternaive collusion of past and present.

This event is 21+ and is only 5 dollars top get in
doors open at 9 or earlier. Event ends at 1 AM.
