ARRRRRHHHHHHHHH
For all of you tired of the oppressive and dictatorial leadership of
this here vessel it is a time to take arms and rise up and overthrow
these bloody self righteous potentates. OK maybe mutiny is too strong
a word. How about those of you who are in the bay area and just can't
drag your tired butt to Sacramento on Thursdays after a long day at
work pay heed. I am hereby attempting to establish a Bay Area
Steampunk group. Particulars to be decided later. My lovely wife and
I along with some of our children (we haven't told them about the
steampunk part) Will be at the Britannia Arms on Almaden in San Jose
from 7pm until 9pm. Everyone is welcome, except for you social
misanthropes intent on taking over the world...aw what the heck
Admiral Macabre is welcome too.

Gene Forrer was on at least two of the panels at Nova Albion. He has
my full support in starting a steampunk meetup group in the South Bay
area and I encourage Bay Area steampunks to join him at his proposed
meeting place and time:
