As I mentioned in an earlier missive, I was thinking of redoing the
map on inkscape based on some older files. And as I suspected, with
experience I'm getting there a bit better than before. The preliminary
base picture is made with inkscape, based on an old version of the map
(that wasn't pritified), and make some slight changes. There are still
things left undone (by Jove, there are still things left undone
indeed), but I'm getting there.

Post-processing was done by experimenting a bit in GIMP, to get that
"unreadable old scan of a map that was nigh-unreadable even in the

A new version of the map has been uploaded and replaces the old one on
the front-page. There will be later-on some fixing going on, but that
is not, to say, a priority.
