I'm planning on remaking the map.

Though I am sure Inkscape will complain a lot, I think I'm having to
do the map again, mostly because a) I don't have the original .svg at
hand b) it wouldn't work on this low-memory puter I'm using back home
in the country. So I'm thinking to try a map that is much simpler in
construction than the last one, possibly by simply flattening together
layers into simple bitmap backgrounds that I'll then combine to make
the last picture.

Also, possible changes include a partitioning of Spain into either
more autonomous provinces, or into a Kingdom of Spain and a couple of
French satellite states (Catalonia and the Basque country come to
mind), possibly with a slice for the Brits and Portugal.

Oh, and Helsingfors/Helsinki will definitely be named Alexandria
(named after Alexandra, the first Grand Princess or something. Need a
better name... Have to find out what would be a possible neoreflex for
*druhtinaz in English). Serbia will also be called the more old-
fashion way as Servia.
