Hi all,

While this isn't specifically steampunk related, I thought those of you who are in England for summer or live there might like to know about these walks!

Best,
Lisa

Dear Colleagues,

For those of you who will be in London in July at our fabulous conference, you may like to head into London for more feminist fun and education on this guided walk! The walk is in aid of the annual Reclaim the Night march in London, the guide is a professional walking tour guide. Please book directly with the guide Rachel Kolsky -

Wonderful Women of Whitechapel

This ever popular tour with Blue Badge Guide Rachel Kolsky visits sites associated with women who have defined Whitechapel and Spitalfields. Hear the stories of such significant figures as Eva Luckes and Edith Cavell at the London Hospital; radical campaigner Annie Besant; and philanthropists Mary Hughes and Miriam Moses. The walk also explores locations related to influential characters in the contemporary cultural scene such as artist Tracey Emin and author Monica Ali.
