Steam Limiter Not Limiting Anymore?

Hi I've been lurking around Whirlpool and places to get some confirmation and it hasn't really been getting me anywhere. My internet is through iinet, running Windows 8.1 (and also 10 now on another machine), on 8.1 unmetered was mostly working but on w10 it was metered, despite Steam Limiter being set to run as admin and set up to the right settings. To your knowledge is Steam Limiter still effective, and is anybody supporting it?

Still working on Windows 7 for me with iinet a couple of weeks back. Don't have 8/8.1, but there is a windows 10 machine in the house I can probably do some testing on this week sometime and report back.

Nigel is still around (on Steam 3 days ago), but work etc sometimes delays responses here.

Tested on release version of Windows 10 and downloads this week have all been unmetered, using the autodetected iinet rules.

Without trying a specific game that is known not to be on steam.cdn.on.net, I'm not sure how I can definitely prove it's working properly rather than Steam itself having fluked connecting to steam.cdn.on.net on each occassion though.

If you changed your plan you may find you are no longer entitled to free content.
This happened to me, the information is on the iiNet web pages but is hard to find.

If you're on the NBN through iiNet, then the Freezone is no longer unmetered. Found that out after a large download from steam that I'd been putting off.
