Running long running rspec with Steak... do js files stay static during the run?

Just curious - I have a long running rspec test with Steak. I am wondering if I continue to work - everything from modifying javascript, html.erb, rails classes, etc. that the test continues to run under the 'snapshot' that existed when I invoked the test (vs loading with mods I might make meanwhile)? I know pretty much that the rails classes are loaded at invocation but not sure what happens when I load pages throughout the suite.
