St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend

Hello fellow runners,

It is that time of the year again. Time to sign up to run and raise funds to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital!

The date is December 7, 2013.  There are five races to choose from.

• Marathon
• Half Marathon
• Memphis Grizzlies House 5k
• Kids Marathon
• Family Fun Run

As most of you know, there is a group of Ste. Gen. runners who have participated in this event for several years now as "St. Jude Hero's".  We have lots of fun each year and would like to encourage you to join us or get a group of family and friends together to participate in running this very meaningful race.  There is a race here for all levels of running.

Lets run for the kids of St. Jude to help conquer childhood cancer!!

If you choose to join our team, I have set up a Hero team as:  Ste. Genevieve Roadrunners

So when you register, select Team Participant, and type the team name exactly as shown above.

Early registration (cheapest) ends May 31st.  These races fill up quickly, so please don't hesitate to register!

I encourage you to visit the website stjude.org to learn more about the race weekend event and running as a St. Jude Hero.

At this time The Schultz's will support the team with $$$, not running as it is too complicated to get there from WI.  We wish you all well and can't wait to hear all the stories.  It won't be the same for us...

Individual as far as the fundraising, but it all totals as a team.  I would do the minimum, $500. You can always raise more of course, but…. If you do not raise the $500 they will charge your credit card.  It will ask for your commitment on the registration form.

Ok...so if we do the road blocks again that goes to the team total? or I need to raise an additional $500?  Sorry I am so confused ;)

We divide the money by who worked the roadblock and how many hours they worked the 2 days. That will go into your individual fund raising.
