Hey ALL,

Well im sure this wont be a big surprise to some and will be to a few, but i wont be making the St Judes trip this year. Ive talked bout it a little with a couple people but my final decision has been to not go.

The main reason is just the lack of training? Ya, i could go and do the half but it would be a pretty pathetic performance. The lack of training isnt from injury or health complications cause we all know i run hurt all the time. Its actually from something that i didnt see coming this soon,,,,,all of me and Lauras free time consumed by our kids scholastics. Both Hannah and Jack are 3&4 sport kids and me and Laura have taken on the responsibility of managing or assistant coaching every team?!!! So between my 2 work schedules and Lauras work schedule and all the practices and games, we have little to no personal time. Unfortunately i dont think its gonna get any better anytime soon. So my plans are to get in shorts runs when i can and use the gym and basically keep a short game intact?

Hope to see everyone around and maybe get some runs in here and there with yall.

Good Luck to all
BRENT

We are sad to miss you this trip....
Glad to hear it is not because of health issues...and glad to hear from you!!!
Take care and enjoy this time with the kids...see you during the holidays!

Brent – I totally understand… Scott and I have been struggling with the time commitment to train as well but, still excited to run our first ½.  We’ll miss you but, I’m sure we’ll see you and Laura soon!
