Small Group for Friday, October 1!

We will meet this Friday at 6:30 p.m. at our house, which is located at 421 Windsor Street, Lakeland, 33803. Ms. Joann is set for Friday and will be at the church by 6.

 

We will be serving a turkey for the main dish and plan on whipping up some banana pudding as well.  Don't ask me where that came from, it just sounded good!  I know Ashley has already signed up to bring corn!

I don't think so Christy; but of course, if by some miracle we can, we will be there. Would appreciate prayers from group. Had the whole Matt being away this week and last, and not being able to lift anything under control, but now am getting bad cold. Miraculously, still seem to be on schedule, but would appreciate prayers from group. :)

I haven't said what we were bringing either, so since I will be up to the wee hours tonight working on my final project, I will opt to bring dessert...probably something with ice cream included with it...or tiramisu?  I don't know, but it will be good!  See you guys then and this is our last one before the big group gathering!!!

 

Remember, if you are able to help the Hayes move this weekend, please let me know!  So far we got a few peeps who can help out.  Please continue to pray for Amanda, she continues to be very sick and for the Hayes, Jenny's back is better this week but she has been fighting a cold this week, not a good time for mom to feel bad, either of them I am sure!

 

Excited to find out to be rich with you all this week and looking forward to some down time with great people!  Have a good one group!

It looks like I'm not going to be able to make it tonight.  Tom now has what Tyler was working on last week and is absolutely pitiful, my allergies are about to do me in, and the plumbing underneath my kitchen sink gave out this morning.  Three strikes and I'm taking that as my sign that I need to be out!  Have a wonderful time and I will see you all for the big multi-group social!

     I am assisting St. David's with the Habitat for Humanity Golf Tournament on Saturday 11/20/10. And we are looking for volunteers to get the word out this Friday at Downtown Lakeland First Friday event on 11/5/10. There will be tons of people at this event, the weather will be great, the event is fun and the participation is easy..... Please see information below:

Lakeland Habitat for humanity participates in the Downtown Lakeland First Friday event.

St. Davids has been offered the opportunity to hand out applications during this November event at the Habitat booth.

We will set up a putting green to draw the interest of the people attending the event.

While we can't solicit funds we can sign up sponsors and golfers. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS to assist at the booth.
