
Hello, STC New England!
Your STC chapter is bringing competitions back to New England this fall! Almost everyone that I've talked to about Competitions is excited, wants to enter, and wants to judge.
If you want to see competitions return to New England and be successful, we need you to help out.
As you can guess, hosting these events takes a lot of behind the scenes work, and this work has already begun.
The greatest need right now is to identify a person to take the lead for each competition -
Print, Online, and Artwork. We need three volunteers to chair these competitions. The responsibilities of the chair include: setting dates, finding locations for events, coordinating with competition chairs, judges, and applicants. We have all the materials from previous competitions, including documents, forms, and training to get you started.
When you choose to volunteer, know that there is a support in place - several former competition chairs are already involved and will be there to help answer questions and guide you in the right direction. We also have all of the materials from previous competitions. You won't be left on your own.
