Haiti Update: Fr. Gerry and Missions are Safe, Donation Options

Here's an update on the earthquake in Haiti in response to the
questions from many parishioners.

- Fr. Gerry confirmed he is safe. He was in Santo Domingo at the time
of the quake, which was not affected. Due to the chaos on Hispaniola,
his return trip has been delayed for
a few days.

- Our missions in Haiti and the Dominican Republic are also safe. The
Haiti sister parishes are in the southwest peninsula, a separate
region of the country. The damage, while severe, appears to be
concentrated in and around the capital, Port-au-Prince.

- The Haiti Committee is working on a plan to collect donations and to
assist in rescue and recovery efforts.
