RE: STC-SOC Annual General Meeting

 Dear STC-Southern Ontario Chapter members:

 

STC-SOC will hold its Annual General Meeting on June 28, 2017. We extend an invitation to you to attend this meeting at:

• Time: 6pm

• Location: Rooftop Patio, 151 Charles St W #100, Kitchener, ON N2G 1H6

At this meeting, if you are a member in good standing, you will have the opportunity to elect the people who will lead this chapter on the executive board (President, Secretary and Treasurer). In fact, if you have been a member in good standing with STC-SOC for a minimum of two years, you can become a candidate. Indicate your interest in serving as an officer on the executive board and your name will be included as part of our vote.

 

Even if you do not qualify to serve on the board or not an STC member, you can still volunteer to help our chapter. If you are new to the workforce or would like to change careers, volunteering with our chapter will give you the opportunity to learn new skills that you can add to your resume. Volunteering also allows you to network and make new connections that may prove beneficial in the future. Many of the people on council have volunteered with the chapter for many years and would welcome new people with fresh ideas.
