We’ve experimented with Google Groups for the last year, using it to announce our chapter events as well as other events that might be of interest to our technical communication group. Well, while the posting of events will continue, we want the list to be more interactive so that you can also initiate and participate in discussions. Going forward, the Events List will not exist on its own; instead, the posting and discussion of events will be part of our new Discussion List.
In addition to the increased scope of our list, effective immediately, you can post messages and events without the content being approved prior to its posting. This will enable you to quickly ask questions or share information related to technical communication. Whether you have questions about working on contract, a problem with some software, recommendations for an educational course, or you are wondering how to phrase something, this group is here for you.
