Workshop Topic 1: API Documentation by Anindita Basu

This workshop is for writers with a programming bent of mind. In this workshop, you will create your own API and document it. In the process, you will learn about resources, endpoints, use cases, examples, and SDKs, and how best to document them. Bring your own laptop (essential) and a willingness to dive into developer documentation.

Clarification: You don’t need to be a coder to attend this workshop.

All you need is an ability to break down big tasks into doable bits.

Requirements for Participants: Must Have Laptop with Internet Connectivity

About the Trainer: Anindita Basu has been a technical writer since 2006. She taught herself to code so that she could use APIs. Then, she created some APIs herself and documented them. In this workshop, she'll encourage you to get hands-on with API documentation.
