Some Technical Communicator and Translator associates in Europe would  greatly appreciate your collaboration in completing their online survey on the profiles of technical communicators and translators in Europe at the following address: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=I4tLBUHZbt8F9IYkrtMkfQ_3d_3d (deadline 10th May).

The aim of their survey is to investigate the extent of the convergence of the profiles of technical communicator and translator as a result of the globalization and internationalization of the European market. The results of the survey will help them to establish whether new cross-training programs should be designed at university level and will be included in a paper on "Professional Communication and Translation in Convergence" which will be presented at the 2008 IEEE/IPC Conference next July in Montreal (for more information on the event: http://ewh.ieee.org/soc/pcs/index.php?q=node/2)
