Hello,
I am in need to measure the frame-per-second of a streaming video in real time. For that i searched in google and found a gstream plugin (fpsdisplaysink) here ( http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/data/doc/gstreamer/head/gst-plugins-bad-plugins/html/gst-plugins-bad-plugins-fpsdisplaysink.html).  But while using it the way it is mentioned in the link above, I am getting the following error:

WARNING: erroneous pipeline: no element "fpsdisplaysink"

Can you give me any idea about how to fix it or any other way i can accomplish this ? Appreciate any help in this regard

Thanks

Try installing the packages gstreamer-plugins-bad,
gstreamer-plugins-bad-free, and gstreamer-plugins-bad-free-extras.

I installed gstreamer-plugins-bad but still not luck with that :-(

Does stb-tester have any in-built utility/feature to measure the fps of a streaming video in real time?

Thanks
