Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4K

I recently purchased a Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4k after reading about it on the stbt Wiki page. I'm having one issue with it though. When connecting my devices to the capture card using the component input the image gets unusually dark. If I connect them via HDMI it looks alright but, of course, then I soon run into HDCP problems instead. I have an Intensity Pro (Full HD) since before and I'm not seeing this issue on that one. I've been in touch with Blackmagic and according to them this is actually due to a bug in their Linux driver! If this is the case I'm surprised if no one else has seen this.

Has anybody else expecienced this?
