SakuraCon 2025

Hi all,

I wanted to bump mention of SakuraCon 2025 again! It's coming up real soon, and we could use some more volunteers.

To review, SakuraCon is a bit different than other outreach that we do. The con provides us with earplugs to give out, and go through the lines for the louder events giving away earplugs until we run out of supply for that particular shift. Usually we have three shifts across Friday and Saturday of the convention. One for the concert, and one for each night of the dance.

To be eligible to volunteer, you would have had to have volunteered for at least 2 events in the past year by 4/18.

Here's our current volunteer list:

Don, Karl, Quack (Friday), Hollie, Harrison

I dont live out there anymore, I do visit sometimes...but I love getting these emails bc it warms my heart knowing yall are still going strong and making the 206 a bit safer for everyone💖

Bumping this email - we're reducing the requirement of 2 shows volunteered to 1! Anybody interested in volunteering at SakuraCon? We need a few more people ideally, but we have up to 10 slots!

Hi all,

Updating our volunteer list:

Don(Saturday), Karl, Quack (Friday), Hollie, Harrison, MarkB (Saturday)

Also reducing our requirement down to an IOU for future volunteering - so anybody not yet having done outreach, but has been trained can join in! Please let us know ASAP if you're interested.

I'll start drafting up a schedule in our discord - which again, please let us know if you need an invite!
