These lights were used on the 13 and 14 cars. I have found and bought lots of these lights over the years, some with Staver script, some not. There are two styles. One with a beaded brass rim and a smooth rim. The latches vary. Interestingly, there are more of one side than the other. The carriage body that was on ebay in the last couple of years with the doors on it had only a single sidelight mount on it. So I am assuming that the Staver carriages used just one of these electric lights circa 1912. I have bought them for as little as $5.00 ea, Most are less than $100 each.
It is very interesting that people still think that very rare equates to value. I usually tell the vendor that there are only 5 or 6 Stavers left in the world and that there are only two that might use these lights. So with only two customers in the world that already have the proper lights, you are left with no possible buyers!! They usually react by turning away shaking their head. It never really sinks in. Same example with the tool boxes with the Staver steplate on them on ebay in the last couple of years. One was way over priced, the other better one was properly priced and went to my old Staver project.
