Variables?

I can't seem to figure out how to associate a new variable with an
account. I wanted to set a variable with some standard Twitter
messages, but I can't figure out how to get this new variable into my
Twitter settings in Statz. Just typing the name of the variable only
sends the actual variable name to Twitter, not the variable's value.
Is there some special syntax I can't find mentioned anywhere? Drag
and drop would be way cool, but that doesn't seem to work either.

Anyone?

Thanks!

Hey Grey,

You should be able to insert a variable into a status string using the
"Edit" popup menu in the top right hand corner of the screen. I'm
surprised dragging and dropping them didn't work for you. Where did
you attempt to drag and drop from?

Documentation is coming as soon as I get a chance :)

Cheers,
Dave

That's what I would have thought, too, but the edit menu is always
grayed out and inaccessible no matter what view I'm in.

In the account view, I tried to drag the variable from the sidebar
into the account window.

Drag & Drop would be a cool feature, although it should be a pretty
low priority.

Nice little app. Now if only I could get rid of the existing menubar
items for all my services!
