Hello,
I try to use cmake to built statismo. Set the source code from /superbuild.
Unfortunately,  it doesn't work because  "Could NOT find Eigen3 (missing: EIGEN3_INCLUDE_DIR EIGEN3".
Here are the error screenshot.

I would be very grateful for any advice.
Best regards,
Edward

Hi Edward,

it is easiest to build the “SuperBuild”. That means choosing the statismo/superbuild as the source folder. It builds statismo and all its dependencies. It will build its own ITK and VTK. In principal, you can get it to use the ones you already have, but I never got that to work.

If you google CMake superbuild you will see more on this concept.

Dear Tom
Thanks for your ditailed reply.
I choose the statismo/superbuild as the source folder and use cmake to compile statismo (superbuild) on win10 again. Unlikely, I met following error. Would it be possible for you to give me some advice to address the problem.

ERRORCannot find git. git is required for Superbuild

CMake Error at D:/Program Files/CMake/share/cmake-3.6/Modules/ExternalProject.cmake:1745 (message):
error: could not find git for clone of VTK
Call Stack (most recent call first):
D:/Program Files/CMake/share/cmake-3.6/Modules/ExternalProject.cmake:2473 (_ep_add_download_command)
External-VTK.cmake:26 (ExternalProject_Add)
CMakeLists.txt:73 (include)

I have installed vtk and itk. Will I need to unstalled them? But i need to use them to segment and 3D reconstruct.
Looking forward to your reply.
Regards
Edward

Hi Edward,

You don't have to uninstall vtk and itk. But you should have git installed on your system (and it should be on your path).

Best regards,

Marcel
