Thanks to all who have replied with confirmation of attendance at the AGM on 31st October and apologies.

Bernard Pratt will be giving a talk on a subject of interest and Martin Bairstow will be bringing some of his railway publications for sale. Bring your bursting wallets and purses as he is giving a percentage of the sales to FOLSs.

Cedric has also given us some rail sections to sell for our funds. They make excellent door stops: we have one holding our kitchen door open and I’ll bring them too.

Ground clearance has started for the step-free access at Littleborough. The car park is closed until Sunday to site the plant and offices, toilets and mess hut. A night watchman is on guard but work can be observed from the platform and the still open public footpath through the car park.

Regards,

Stuart
