Sunday's Mince Pie special was a great success with about 200 people
boarding at Littleborough and Smithy Bridge stations. First photo of the
crowd at 12.45! Filled the four-car 158's. Littleborough Public Brass Band
and choir from Littleborough Churches Together and Holy Trinity Primary
School provided the carols at the stations ( second photo) and on the train
to Manchester and back. Thanks to Northern Rail, STORM and FOLSs for the
children's presents and mince pies, the last one of which was enjoyed by the
driver.
