First Catch Center Grant Program

Reminder - First Catch Center Grant Applications Due Feb 11

All applications for the Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation’s First Catch Center (FCC) program grants are due next Tuesday, February 11, 2025.

Since 2017, the FCC program has inspired thousands to try fishing, especially in underserved areas, by providing mobile trailers fully equipped with fishing gear to outdoor agencies and non-profits.

States, local or federal wildlife/parks, government agencies or non-profit organizations are eligible to apply. Applicants selected for the program will receive up to $25,000 towards the purchase, outfitting, and branding of the mobile trailer.

All applications must be submitted using our online form. The application is a competitive process and will be scored against our Core Criteria. RBFF will inform grantees on March 4, 2025, and begin the process of working to find a trailer and trailer wrap company, identify equipment needs, etc.

For more detailed information, please refer to the
FCC Program Guide.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact Kayla Hornbrook at khorn...@rbff.org.
