From IL Roots Project member siun, please see below.  Schumer and the DSCC is may support Joe Lieberman's announced bid to run in the general election as an independnet if Ned Lamont beats him in the primary.

That's right:  the Democratic Senate Campaign Committee may support an independent who has fled the party and been voted down by the local Democratic Party over the choice of the state locals.  

It's up to all of us th tell the national party that they work for us, not the other way around.  Siun has names of people to contact, below:

"Lieberman just announced he is petitioning for an independent run in addition to running in the Dem primary.  Call to DSCC needed now to ask if they will continue to support a candidate who will not honor the people's choice in CT.

Obama is Midwest Regional Vice Chair so calls to him are needed too!
