Seeking information regarding Madarsas convered under the Samagra Shiksha in States/UTs-reg.

I am directed to convey that the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India, is in the process of reviewing the implementation status of the centrally sponsored PM POSHAN Scheme, specifically with respect to its outreach to Madarsas covered under the Samagra Shiksha initiative.

In this context, you are kindly requested to furnish the following information at the earliest:

• Whether Madarsas covered under Samagra Shiksha in your State/UT are availing benefits under the PM POSHAN scheme.
  

• If yes, please provide the number of such Madarsas and details of students covered.
  

• Please indicate what is the procedure to include new madarsa under the Scheme.
  

This may be treated as urgent.
