Hello all!

I am relatively new to this position. I have a situation and want to know if any of you have encountered this before.

Oregon is introducing a new Principal Broker Academy specific to Principal Brokers (reviewing brokers/agents in other states). I want to be able to give them a designation after completing the academy because it is going to be laborious (4 full in person days, online coursework, etc).

Do any of you know if I can just create a designation for this class? What do I need to do?

Thanks!

Good for you Kayla! I have nothing to add but will be taking notes on what is suggested!

I believe NAR requires that state and local associations who create a certification or designation program in their state must put verbiage in the material indicating it is not an NAR designation or certification.
