It's neat to find treasures when not actually looking for them.
Today, trying to track down a photo's origin I ran across an interesting collection of maps on the state museum of North Dakota's site -
https://statemuseum.nd.gov/photobook
From a 1890 map of Minnesota to Minnesota territory maps 1849 and 1850.
Two maps done 6 years apart - 1861 and 1867 of Kansas, Nebraska and Colorado along with surrounding areas that changed from territories to named areas by 1867.
Individual county maps for North Dakota, 1844 map of the USA for a school geography book, map from 1816 of the Northwest Territories - Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota.
All from the first 50 records of 103,134 items. Obviously, a long search but some neat finds.
Typing in Nebraska in the search - Nebraska, Dakota, Idaho, Montana & Wyoming - 1865.
