25th anniversary logos

The logos page - http://www.usgenweb.org/volunteers/logos.html

shows logos folks can use on their sites.

Yet on the main page of the Project is a different one, which has much more pizzaz than the ones listed on the logo page.

Is there any issue with states or county sites using that one?

The 25th on the front page is not a logo!!

Whatever semantics one wishes to use - it looks a lot better than the 'logos' offered.

A logo has the project name on it or the business name! The graphic on the front page just advertises the 25th anniversary! The choice of approved logos are on the logo page.
Maybe you can design a better one??
