Actually, all anyone has to do is look at the counties page to see what the links go to. Suffice it to say, a short look at the Wayback Machine also reveals the state of everything.... very depressing to me to see the condition of this state for our visitors. I'm certainly far from perfect, and I have way too many counties available for adoption in FL, but I've been trying to rebuild each county that needed to be moved and revamped from the old Google Classic sites, and adding material as much as I possibly can. And I have had volunteers who have pitched in to help me with some of them.... but others has been just me. And FL has many more counties, for sure. Our job as State Coordinators surely calls for us to be much more vigilant about our states, right? Isn't that why we have aspired to take on that position. There are accountabilities for this project to continue to succeed. If we are not willing to do that, why take the position or remain in it.
And to Tina, this was posted to this list because you don't truly respond to those who have attempted to contact you about the state. I received repeated complaints while the NC and all this grandfathered crap seems to protect non-caring SCs. Fortunately, I was able to make some headway with a few states.... and prior to my being elected, NO ONE DID ANYTHING WITH SOUTH CAROLINA BECAUSE OF IT and the state was ridiculous. I'm not sure how many SCs may currently be grandfathered, but that rule should be removed, in my humble opinion. And anyone who thinks they can do a better job for New Jersey or Florida can jump on in if they want to take it over.
