Bushido Nanophene low resin technology provides incredible strength and durability while lowering blank weight and diameter. The multi-directional prepreg layering system provides increased linear and hoop strength using high strain, high modulus Japanese carbon fiber and aerospace resin systems.
Utilizing these design and material attributes for the latest technique-specific applications where "slow action" and progressive actions are necessary for jigging and bait fishing with super lines, smaller reals, and heavy drag fishing styles.
Loved fishing these rods for mangrove snapper but I've broken the tips on two of these rods. One tip broke when putting the rod and a 3 Oz. Jig in a vertical rod holder. I've had better luck with the heavy slow pitch rod...lots of red grouper. The ultra load extra heavy is my go to when fishing for gags with 250 gm. Jigs. 4.5 tips are just too thin. Now the 2 broken rods are 3 inches shorter, heavier action and haven't broken.
Focusing on extreme durability and performance by matching advanced technology in material and design to newly refined actions and lengths in spinning and casting models. Born for perfect bait presentations, instant reaction timing and the strength to get the job done.
I have built many rods on this blank. It is well made. Has a great action and performs well as a jigging rod and can be used for lindy rigging for walleye. The blank is a great choice and is reasonably priced.
Bushido by american tackle is spectacular. I fish and sell a bunch of inshore stuff. The Mag Bass line is ideal for many inshore applications in the NE. (I live/fish out of Cape may, nj) the 15-30 will easily bounce 8oz bucktails for drift fishing fluke in deep water. We use this blank for black drum in the spring ( 8oz + + fish 40-60lbs), Seabass fishing deep and most stripped bass lure applications. Also built myself a cobia/spinning rod on a musky blank. Blanks are high modulus. Also nanophene extreme stuff is really sick but a bit pricey. Im a dealer if you have specific questions, shoot me a direct msg.
I haven't used the blank you mentioned for your purpose just for bass, if I was using this blank to fish deep diving cranks like the DD22 or XD10 this would be on the bare edge of not working. Heavier Bushidos are better here. With it's M Fast action I bet it would make an excellent choice, I could see trying it for jigging pompano from shore for instance.
The most versatile Nanophene blanks yet, the Bushido Nanophene Extreme is an entirely new series addressing the latest technique specific requirements of vertical jigging and bait fishing along with satisfying traditional angling needs. This wide range selection boasts a Fast Full-Action design to provide faster tip actions but allowing a Full-Action deflection when fully loaded. Extreme-ly powerful and durable enough to become the go-to blank option for all upscale offshore and nearshore applications.
