Import UML (created by StarUML v1.0) file does not work

I tried to import .uml file using StarUML v1.0.0 beta 9, but it does not work. The import message dialog appeared forever. The attachment is the file I was going to import.

I have the same exact problem.  It just sits and waits forever with the importing message.  The file I was importing was created with StarUml v1 (5.0.2.1570).

I have the same problem. Just a short trick, to come around that:

1. Close StarUML

2. in Finder, right-click on the file and use open-with

3. Search for StarUML as the relevant program (select "all programs", to be able to select StarUML)

4. StarUML opens and gives you the diagrams... :-)

I am not sure, everything comes over correctly (my collegues work on version 1 Windows, while I only have a Mac at hand). But at least I am a bit further.

Hope that helps anyone, until the "normal" way to do this gets fixed (and maybe also a clue for the developers, where to look)

Ok, that only worked with my version. Tried it with the posted file, but did not work there. Sorry.

Anyway, it may help out others, which can go further with this trick...

Anyway, the problem was fixed and will be released in the next beta-10 release. (maybe in next week)
