StarUML v2 Installation on Ubuntu 14.04

Hi guys,

I'm not a experienced Linux user but I'm using it right now and I wanna know how to install the new version of StarUML in Ubuntu 14.04.

If you guys could explain me or even send me a link with an explenation of it.

Download .deb package from our site, and just double click it!

Well... it installs, sure but it doesn't integrate with the Unity UI. I had to first fix the broken link /usr/bin/staruml -> /opt//brackets/brackets to be -> /opt/staruml/staruml so I could launch it from a terminal and then once launched I could lock it to the dock. The entry in the unity launcher doesn't do anything. Is this a known bug?

Hi Paul,

Thank you for reporting a problem. We've just posted on our issue tracking system and this problem will be fixed in the future release. Temporally, instead of fixing the link, search "staruml" application in your computer and then you can lock it to the dock.
