Option to suppress name of relationships

Is it possible to suppress the name of a relationship in the diagram (without deleting the name)? (I'm on Staruml 6.3.4)

If not yet, could this be added as a feature (and possibly also the relationship end names)?

Hi,

The feature is not supported, and we have no plans to add it.

Could you explain why it's essential as a core feature? If you only want to hide the text visually, you can simply set its color to white or transparent.

Sure, I can provide a bit more context:

I use the class diagram to model our DB data model, and I use the foreign key names as names of the name of the association as this helps with cross referencing the relationships in the UML model with the SQL schema.

However, while I want the name in the model, not always I need to see the name in the diagram, and the default naming scheme for FK relationships can produce quite lengthy names that take up a lot of real estate in the diagram. See below an example based on the Pagila Postgres DB.

The association as a whole can be elided from the diagram by simply selecting it in the diagram and hitting "backspace". I would like to see the same functionality for the name/end-name labels of the relationship, so select the label, hit backspace to remove it from the diagram.

Setting the color to transparent is a workaround, but a bit too cumbersome, as the color of the text and the background both need to be set to transparent.
