Floating Licenses?

Hello,

like other users, I have read the new license information and I find it quite unhandy to use some web frontend anytime I want to use the tool on another machine.

Is there a floating license solution available instead of this web-app-managed-per-device-garbage?

Or is it planned?

That's quite bad ... I usually work on a portable and a desktop pair of computers, and go on shifting tools according to the convenience of the moment.
If I'm understanding correctly, buying a license implies its restriction to a specific MAC address or similar.
If I configure a license for the desktop, will a trial version installed in the laptop at least be able to read the projects stored in the desktop, or will it corrupt them to death ?
