class diagram disappeared

Hi,

I have been working on my class diagram for the last two days. Suddenly, I see it is all gone. Vanished. I see all the elements in the explorer but I do not see anything in the drawing window grid. Can anyone help me here?

I am quite panicked because this was my last 2 days work. I need help.

We've just investigated your file, but we couldn't find any problem in your file.

One possible scenario why the diagram is disappeared is:

1. Clicked on empty area of the diagram. It resulted selecting the diagram.

2. Pressed Ctrl+Delete (Delete from Model menu). It resulted the diagram removal.

3. Saved the file.

We just realized that the Step 2 do not close the working diagram, so user may not recognize the deletion of diagram.

So, we will fix this problem and consider not to select the diagram when clicking on the empty area of the diagram.

We want to let you know how to create a diagram quickly instead of drag-and-drop from every elements in Explorer on a diagram.

1. Open your file (Untitled.mdj)

2. Select "Model" element in Explorer.

3. Click the menu (Tools > Diagram Generator > Overview (Expanded)). A diagram "Overview" will be created under "Model" element.

4. Double-click the "Overview" diagram in Explorer. You can see the created diagram.

5. Re-layout your view elements in the created diagram.

Anyway, we're sorry for inconvenience. we will enhance to prevent facing this situation again.

I am new to using StarUML, so it could be that I am doing something wrong, but I am completely sure that I have not deleted anything from the model. 

It has happened a couple of times. I am working normally, and suddenly, the sequence diagram I am working on disappears. sometimes, I close the application and reopen the file and it shows normally, but sometimes it does not show the diagram, even though I see all the elements in the explorer. This is the third diagram that I have to redo completely because of this problem. Have you found any solution? what can be happening? I really need help. I'm on a tight schedule, and cannot spend extra time redoing the diagrams twice.

I want to check something about the problem you faced.

1. Is the diagram disappeared during you are editing or when you open the file?

2. Do you know that many diagrams can be included in a ".mdj" file and you need to open the diagram to edit by double-clicking the diagram in Explorer?

3. Did you try to open the diagram by double-clicking the diagram in Explorer (treeview on the right side) when the diagram disappeared.

Please answer the above questions in order to find the cause of the problem.

Same problem with StarUML 3.1.0 on Windows 10.

When I move classes inside a package they suddently dissapear.

They are not deleted and you can select them in the lateral menu, but they are not displayed any more.

Find very simple file and photo attached.

Select the element in diagram, and Select "Bring to Front" in "Format->Alignment".
