Problem 1: In sequence diagrams, combined fragments are always overlapped by lifebars. Move forward or backward of the visual elements has no effect on this. This issue causes important information on the diagram to be hidden by less important lifebars. Please find here a attached the test model an here a screenshot highlighting the issue.
Can you tell me if there’s a
solution to this issue ? Or if it’s a known bug that will be corrected in a future
version ? Or if this design is on purpose and will not be changed ?
Problem 2: I have an additional question: it seems not possible to add a lifebar without adding an incomming message. This prevents me from showing different sets of interactions in the different alternatives of my combined element. For example in this diagram, if I would shorten the server lifebar to end in the [success] part, in order to show succesive lifebars triggered by incomming messages, I couldn't resume the server lifebar in the [else] bloc. Similarly, I could'nt show sponteneous activation (e.g.: human actor, or timer related activation).
Did I oversee an easy solution, or is it something that is really not possible with your software ?
Thank you in advance
Chris
