I was drawing a class diagram and came across a class that implements an interface. I wanted to draw an "Interface Realization" between the two, but when I do that, it draws a black solid line and not a Generalization arrow with a dotted line. Before I am going to report a bug, I want to know if this is indeed how the UML should look like.

So my question is: Should the interface realization indeed look like a black solid line or did I expect something more like a dotted line with a generalization arrow?

Hi Marnix,

According to the UML specification, the "Interface Realization" should be drawn as a solid line, If the Interface is shown as ball notation (Format -> Stereotype Display -> Icon).
If the Interface is not shown as ball (e.g. Format -> Stereotype Display -> Text), the "Interface Realization" will be shown as dotted line with a triangle.

Thanks,
