Text to Sequence Diagram

Hello,

I would like to understand whether StarUML is offering the capability to convert text to sequence diagrams. For example:

Input:

 ObjectA -> ObjectB : a,b : getAccess()

 ObjectB -> ObjectA : a,b : reply

Where 

<Part1> : <Part2> : <Part3>

Part 1 contains the actual message transmission from entity 1 to entity 2

Part 2 actually denotes that the timeline should continue

Part 3 is the text upon the message transmission

I would need that in order to take quick draft notes during a meeting and then finalize it. Texting is easier than actually drawing at that moment.

Is there such feature?

Hi Giorgos,

Thank you for sending good idea and it looks very useful for users. However we’re very small team so it’s difficult to meet the all requests from users.

Instead, we will provide Open APIs sooner or later in order to allow users to develop their-own extensions using JavaScript and HTML5/CSS3.

Hi

There is a software named as Transfiguration software that translate plain English texts  to UML Sequence diagram, class diagram, activity diagram and even process chart. It was launched on 2012 but due we had management issues, so we  have suspended the operation but is looking to be back next year January.
