Everytime I load my class diagram, everthing looks pretty destroyed as you can see in the picture:

Luckliy with just one click somewhere into the window, the classes are displayed correct again. But the links between them are not like when I saved the file. They cross each other an other classes.

In comparisson, this is what I actually saved:

The problem seems to appear only after a sudden "complexity" is reached. Everytime I open the project I have to correct almost every link because it just looks messy.

My System:
StarUML Version 2.8.1
Windows 10 Pro

Hello,

Looks so strange. Could you send us (sup...@staruml.io) the .mdj file to investigate the problem?

Thanks,
StarUML Team

Hi Gabriele,

Thank you for your feedback with files for testing. Finally we found the reason why layout is broken.

The issue is caused by the problem related with "autoResize=true" property of some nodes. When the file is open, nodes having "autoResize=true" treated as zero size (width = 0, height = 0). Due to this problem all edges connected to theses nodes loss correct positions.

This issue will be fixed in the next minor version (3.0.2 or 3.1.0) that will be released soon.

To fix this problem temporally, please off all autoResize property and fix edges layout and then save the file.

Thanks,
StarUML Team
