How to create a custom Stereotype?

Hello,

Just purchased StarUML. Liking it so far.

Version 4.0.1

I tried to follow the instructions on how to create a pre-defined Stereotype here:

I am unable to locate Stereotype anywhere in the Toolbox.

I also cannot find it in the Context Menu either

The ability to add ad-hoc Stereotypes per diagram works but would rather have them normalized so that if I need to rename the Stereotype, it will change across all diagrams instead of just one.

Please advise.

Hello Mark,

Stereotype is shown in Toolbox only for "Profile Diagram". So first, please create a Profile Diagram as described in doc: https://docs.staruml.io/working-with-uml-diagrams/profile-diagram#create-profile-diagram.

Also note that a Stereotype only be contained by a Profile. So to add a Stereotype (only model element) in Model Explorer, create a Profile first as described in doc: https://docs.staruml.io/working-with-uml-diagrams/profile-diagram#profile
