How to move items little by little?

Hi,

When I move something inside StarUML, no matter dragging by mouse or with CTRL+ arrow keys,  I can only move by a half grid.  

If I open the mdj file with a text editor, I can see every time one item moves (e.g. dragging by mouse), it moves a value of 8.  

And if I edit the mdj file directly with the text editor,  I can move the item with a much smaller step (with value 1). 

I know I can use the alignment feature to align two items, but I also hope I can align items manually by moving items little by little. Is there an easy way of doing this without editing the mdj file with a text editor?

What I meant by editing the mdj file with a text editor is like this:

And open the file with starUML, we can see the object is moved to 2 pixels (which is not a multiple of 8) from the left:

In the old opensource version of StarUML 5.0, it's documented that we can move objects little by little with "CTL+ATL+arrows":

I have tried, it doesn't work in StarUML2 (the non-opensource version, v4.16). Do we have something similiar to  "CTL+ATL+arrows"   in StarUML2 v4.16?

Unfortunately we don't have short-cut key for moving views in pixel-level. One way to move pixel-level, you can set grid size to 1px (Preferences -> General -> Diagram Editor).

We added this issue as feature requests in our main issue tracking system for allowing turn-on and off "Snap to Grid" and shortcut keys for pixel-level movement.

By the way, it will be great if as long as we hold ALT down, the mouse dragging can also move items at pixel-level. That's the behavior of MS Visio.
