It looks like the city is pretty close to opening up its data for our
consumption! nawm, nawm, nawm... <-- (Those are chomping text-
effects.)
Anyway, I've gone ahead and setup an idea garden for people to share
and vote on some cool app ideas for the city of Baltimore. Got a cool

Mike, is there any summary of what data might become available? (With which to guide our ideas?)

Short answer -- no. I have heard, however, that they will be modeling
it after DC who has the "Data Catalog" (http://data.octo.dc.gov).
That might be a good starting place for inspiration. I think it might
be even cooler to generate ideas without constraints. It allows for
more creative thought and might tap into some data sectors that aren't
participants -- yet.
