Oh I should probably have said, but it wouldn’t be happening now. We are “planting the seeds” now but any conflict would most likely be early next year, because Prodigy is also in the middle of another plot.

I don’t really mind leaving direct tags for players to be honest. Obviously people who can do more themselves are easier to work with, but I’m quite happy working with people who need more direction too.

That being said, we can also keep this within Prodigy if you guys aren’t interested, but I’m not personally worried about GMing it, especially knowing I’d have my team (Piper and AM, and sometimes David, Jordan and Mary are usually down to play some NPCs). We’ve been using a slightly more collaborative GM style on Prodigy that works really well for keeping things from becoming too overwhelming for one person.

It’s a style somewhere in-between Dev and Drika’s style and Richard’s that kind of just developed organically. Basically, me and Piper usually know the whole plot (plus others if it was their idea, like David and AM in this case), but I then ask players if they want to play NPCs, give them any info they need and everyone has a vague idea of the plot. So I guess less surprises than what Drika and Devon do, but slightly more ‘gamey’ than Richard’s total collaborative writing style. I will also generally just let people know whatever they want (like Jordan has my document on the Chernov because he was interested and he doesn’t metagame).

I think this collaborative style has made managing stuff easier, at least for me, it’s probably not for everyone but that’s why I’m confident I could GM a big conflict, I wouldn’t be completely on my own or anything.

Hi, eveyone.

S'Task and Cromwell are in a joint adventure, and due to some healthy issues I had, I am restarting this adventure this month.

Tabitha, a large scale conflict would demand a large involvement of the players and sincerely except for a handful of us most need to be tagged and pushed on to action. So IMHO as a GM I dont think it is the right moment to STSk and CRMB to engage in large scale conflictt.

Hello everyone,

I want to tell you about an idea that we have on Prodigy, well, a few ideas that might fit together.

• So, David has a character, Valen, who was experimented on by scientists from the Gamma Quadrant. The experiments involved genetic engineering and Valen is telekinetic as a result. His sister, Fraya, who Prodigy are trying to find, was also experimented on and is telepathic.

• Myriad (Kits baby) was found in a maturation chamber built by an ex-Borg scientist with links to the people who experimented on Valen and Fraya.

• AM has a recently severed Borg teenager, whose parents escaped a Romulan prison camp, left over from the Dominion War. There was also genetic experimentation happening here, involving Borg nanoprobes that were used to increase the endurance of the prisoners.

Prodigy will find a number of these camps are still active. They are from a faction of the Dominion who want revenge on the Federation (and in turn the DFA because no one ever bothers to tell us apart lol).

This could be a plot contained to Prodigy, but it could also develop into a large conflict (second domino war anybody?).

I’ve personally always wanted to run a big conflict and AM would play some enemy roles. Would you guys like to make this a big BL war? I could totally see it involving Stask and Cromwell and the Federation groups too if they’re still running?

(Also, are Sam and Caleb still running Discovery? Did I miss anyone?)

Thoughts?

I've not been active over the last roughly three years. A new job which has still not settled down and a young family make it impossible for me to even consider returning.
