Meeting and Ride this Saturday!

Apologies for the late email! We will still meet at my place at 9am on Saturday. As chosen last week, the ride is a fire tour of the "Bald Peak Fire" and "Power Line Fire" (near Hagg Lake) areas from last summer. After 7-hours of exploring the entire area, I found no visible fire scars, lots of gravel roads, and Bald Peak road itself is in terrible repair. So, I settled on a route that still takes us in that general direction, but on decent roads. We'll head around Hagg Lake (always fun twisties), then take North Valley Road (still fun but milder twisties) to Newberg, and back up and over Hwy 219 (insane twisties) towards Cruise Inn for lunch. Expect we may need to eat in the parking lot again. Ride should take about 2-hours and cover 71-miles. Given the fun curves on this route, please check your tire pressure today. See you then!
