I have recently shifted to android studio. I would like to know how I can test my apps in Bluestacks app player. I had already had the bluestacks connected and working with eclipse using adb connect localhost:5555 but it doesn't seem to work with android studio. Didn't find any help anywhere. If anyone has done this, please help.
first open bluestacks and go to settings > preferences > check the Enable Android Debug Bridge (ADB) and press Change path button, then select adb path. (default location: %LocalAppData%\Android\sdk\platform-tools)
These are all old answers, nothing works for me till I finally come out with a solution of my own.for a much later version (I'm using the 5.6x version, latest at the time of posting), just go to Settings in bluestack, click advanced, toggle on DB and run adb connect localhost:[port] with port being the number shown in the ADB information page (the one I underlined). Voila, you should automatically see another mobile device available on the Android Studio
This emulator that will allow you run most of the apps locate on the android store on your windows host while still be able access your local. This does not require a dual boot configuration. Just install and configure.
I have the same problem, but one of my cameras works fine the other does not display (same errors as above).
What I have discovered is that the camera that works has not been updated to the latest firmware update.
( )
The one that fails has been updated twice.
I had the same problem with wzye on bluestacks 4 with hyper V. I could only see the recorded stuff. Once I enabled hardware decoding in the wyze account settings I was able to see the live stream. To do that in the Wyze app tap the Account button > App Settings > Enabled Hardware Decoder
i forgot to update my bluestacks 5 wyze app to the required update recently released. i have the latest update and firmware on my cell. it works fine on that. is there any way i can stiil update my bluestacks wyze app? cause its not connecting now without on bluestacks 5.
Hey @Erjola_Mema
I think automating bluestacks might be complex the ram will use the emulator there are chances the UiPath will crash it is not optimal to do this with bluestack but smart of you to think like this.
By using the actvities available in the above mentioned package you can able to get verification code & can able to use it where it is required. By suing this you can able to automate without Blue stacks in PC
Thanks for the reply ,
I have a verification code with a text message in the phone number.
But I was another test
I download the message text app ,and try to spy it with the UiPath activities and it seems okay.
For the past week i've had a lot of issues audio wise (choppy and robotic vocals), so i've had to get an android emulator, however it cannot detect headphones. Does anyone know any solution to avoid the headphones required or an app to make an emulator think headphones are plugged in?
If you think your audio issue is related to the headphones mic, you may try using headphones without mic , the regular old ones, with TRS tip instead of TRRS tip (google it to see photos). When you use this kind of headphones, the internal phone mic is selected by smule to get the sound.
Yeah, Smule also can't detect my Sony headphones either, and I'm using a Samsung Chromebook. I'm invited into a group collab, and everytime I sing and finish, it won't let me save even though I have my headphones plugged in and I've tried a million things to save it (Adjusting microphone, sound, taking out headphone plug and trying other invites). Any leads?
OK, I have finally found a solution because the SoundAbout is not working anymore. You have to install Lesser AudioSwitch on emulator and switch input device to headphone. Here is a detailed instruction in my blog on how to configure headphones to trick Smule
HI I would like some thoughts on bluestacks.com I would like to try out the emulator and see if I can play games on my laptop. I would really like to play wheel of fortune on bluestacks if I can but I have never used bluestacks emulator to play games on my windows 11 laptop before. So I was just looking for some options on if it is a good idea to use bluestacks to connect to my google account and get games from the google store to download games to bluestacks. I was just wanting to now if this is a safe thing to do since I have never download an emulator before to play android games on my windows pc. I have never owned an android phone I have heard of android phones though. I was just curious what people have to say about downloading bluestacks emulator and downloading games from the google play store is it a good idea to do this on a windows 11 laptop. Thanks. waiting for information and Answers.
New tablet arrived, is very fast web browser and plays games really quick. Was able to setup the Quest 2 with it. But only after I realized that you do not pair the headset and the tablet in the tablets settings, you pair the tablet and the headset in the Quest app which is on your phone/tablet. The instructions in the headset display explaining how to setup the Quest2 is very hard to understand. It was not presented logically, just cutely.
I don't know about IOS emulators (considering how locked down apple is, probably not likely), but no Android emulator can do the Quest setup. The problem is no android emulator has bluetooth support, and that's what's needed.
The phone isn't required for 99% of uses once the setup is done. You can get a friend to run the app on their phone, do the setup process, then uninstall the app and your Quest will run fine (it uses wifi to get on the internet. The only real need for the phone app is to turn on/off developer mode (needed for some unofficial software). But once turned on it will generally stay on.
Oculus headsets lead the market in sales, thanks to the technical people in the companies which produced the hardware. Not thanks to the business planning department that decided to require people with advanced PC desktops to also own later model iOS and Android phones. Most iOS and android phones made are still in use which means multitudes of people owning those will not be able to use a Quest 2 headset, despite owning a modern high end PC desktop.
Yep looks like I'm one of many of such persons who can't get there from here, so probably have to return the headset. Pitty. A great many people on Avsim and other major flight sim forums love the Quest 2 but won't be using one. Due to issues something like mine which have nothing to do with the headset itself.
It would be simple of course to have two apps, one that is full featured, just as their app is now. And another very simple one which runs on old iOS/Android OS, which perhaps does nothing much more than allowing headset setup for use on a PC. PC Steam games are biggest thing in gaming. So obviously VR headsets for use on PC's represent an enormous market.
It's a very annoying situation, I strongly disagree with the mobile requirement, just on the principle. The Quest is already an android device running on mobile hardware, why can't they put the account login bit on the headset?
The android requirement is 5.0 though, which came out 7 years ago, 2 years before Oculus even went consumer and 4 years before Oculus started using the mobile app. They've already dropped it back to a quite out of date OS.
Hi guys,
I need to debug my app on real device or emulator (bluestacks for example) because I integrated paypal feature and this is not testable using web browser. I need to see the console or network calls. How can I do it?
Source code can be found and is debuggable as well but there can be possibilities that we may be using any bundler like webpack or gulp which bundles our files. So we may be unable to find exact files in chrome inspect but we will surely find all our code there in some other file. For example in one of my projects I am using gulp which bundles all of my code to file app***********.js so my whole source code is present in this file and I debug this file if required.
Other option can be to debug via Vs Code editor.
Mainly, professional gamers and social media users want to play games and other entertainment apps at once on PCs. The reason is to enhance their user experience. Conversely, professional people prefer using the Android apps on their systems, especially those related to work. This helps lower the chances of distraction you might face while using mobile phones.
In simple terms, no matter what app you are using, it becomes easier to use on the widescreen compared to smartphones. Moreover, you will also find this program helpful if your phone is not accessible at a time.
