Wherever pulsing arpeggio chords break down in cycling tone patterns, suspended synth strings detail a build up of charge. The Consolation Engine develops steadily, expanding and advancing outward, fairly vibrating with new energy, descending then into a seamless gradient of harmony, melody and rhythm. Representing the enigmatic cool of the interstellar traveler, this release proves assured and satisfying - all while smiling warmly at the future.
