I recently installed win2k and Solaris 7 on dual partitions. I' m having
problem setting up Solaris as a dial-up server or configuring DNS. On win2k
Dns service and Ras or RRAS service comes preinstalled, is that the case
w/Solaris7?.

Specs;
Dual boot - win2k and Solaris 7
Processor - Intel PetiumIII xeon 1Ghz
Dial up device- US ROBOTICS 56K ***IT'S FOR LAB ENVIRONMENT**STOP THE
GIGGLES**

Deployment plans;
1. I need to setup Solaris as a dial up server to handle both incoming and
outgoing calls also as a VPN and Secondary DNS server.. I heard Bind
(ver.4.xx) is dynamic.
Question.
-What services comes preinstalled w/Solaris 7 (Example; DNS, RAS or RRAS, or
any kind dial up service, VPN)?
-Considering the dial device (56k US Robotics modem), How easy will it be to
configure the dial up server (can someone share w/all of us how to configure
the dial up server, w/56k US Robotic modems.. STEP BY STEP please)?!

Desired Results;
Top management are tempted to deploy win2k as the dial up server and web
server but we have heard horror stories from fellow IT engineers.
reliability/stability is a big issue, we want to minimize the blue screen
effect synonymous w/Microsoft products.

**Apologies for the grammatical errors, I wrote this mssg @ midnight CST**
Thanks in advance
