UNABLE TO EDIT TEXT

I can easily open text frame, and enter/amend/edit text in all
respects. However, if I navigate away from that frame, I find I cannot
cause the word processor to go into text mode again, or accept any
input at all. I can select the group for movement, or deletion, etc.,
but not for any edit. Any suggestions?

running it on. Normally when these problems come up it is more the OS
than the WP. At least for me running W98se & Win2kPro it has been. You
might want to check and see if something is running that should not be.
I have had a problem with Acrobat Reader not closing from time to time
and causing the system to "freeze" up requiring a hard reboot. This
generally happens when I am running something else which makes it seem
as though the other app is the cause of it all. Closing Acrobat often
cures the problem if I an get at the Task Manager at Ctrl+Alt+Del.
